Urgent Work Orders
What is considered an Urgent?


Water backing up in plumbing.

Commode inoperative if no other commode is available.

Water faucet running continuously.

Unusable faucet in family housing unit, UPH, or food service facility IF no other faucet supplying that classification of water is operative.

No hot water.

fAny malfunction in the sewage collection system or treatment plant that diminishes the ability to collect and process sewage.

Petroleum contaminants entering the sanitary sewer system.

Malfunctioning control devices in the LPG distribution system.

Malfunctioning protective devices (GFI, breakers, etc.) and alarm systems.

No heat when ambient temperature is less than 50 degrees F., or when requested by the Hospital Commander.

No cooling in automatic data processing equipment rooms, hospitals or communications centers, or in any other facility when the ambient temperature is 100 degrees F. or greater.

Malfunctioning of ranges and refrigerators in family housing or any food preparation and refrigeration equipment in food service facilities.

Loss of cooling in any food storage or display equipment.

Boiler plant pump or pressure line failure.

Broken staircases, balconies, and handrails in family housing and UPH.

Malfunctioning exterior doors or locks.

During inclement weather, any structural damage which will allow the elements to cause damage to the building or its contents.

Damaged or broken recreational or playground equipment exposing a potential injury hazard.

Installation of barriers at road hazards.

Natural disaster (flood, storm, earthquake, etc.) requiring response to protect life, maintain road access, or to protect real property from damage.

Malfunctioning of diaphragm pumps on OWS (effluent, sludge waste oil) and vault sump pumps at wash racks.
